Exactly four years ago, on 24th November 2005, the Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS) and the University of Florence signed their agreement of collaboration between the two institutions. The two rectors, prof. Andrzej Eliasz (SWPS) and prof. Leonardo Morlino (Florence) as well as their collegues prof. Bohdan Michalski, prof. Jan Strelau (SWPS) and prof. Luciano Segreto (Florence) came together in Warsaw for this act of institutionalizing the mutual cooperation. 
Leading European Institutions in the framework of the European Univeristies Consortium (EUC) won an EU grant with their joint project "Korean European Global Leadership Program for Sustainable Development" and will start their cooperation with South Koreas Hanyang University, Konkuk University, and Ajou University

The conference "What 'European-ness' means today?", organised by the European Universities Consortium, the Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Del Bianco Foundation will take place in Florence from March 27th-29th.
The next Consortium roundtable meeting will be held on 19th November in Paris. Meeting will be hosted at the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme, in Boulevard Raspail 54 and will start at 9.30 AM
